Welcome back to our journey through the wild corners of Runeterra. In the first part, we explored the souls of Jinx and Briar – their motivations, their aesthetics, and their roles within the world. We discovered that Jinx is the architect of chaos, while Briar is its victim (or rather, its living weapon). But what happens when these two extremes of wildness collide?
When the colorful anarchy of Zaun meets the uncontrollable hunger of the beast? For this ultimate duel, we have chosen a very special location: Sparkland. An arena that never stands still. A place of extreme contrasts – a world constantly shifting between two states, just like our two warriors.
The Arena: The Ever-Changing Sparkland
An arena that has no permanent form. A battlefield that constantly shifts between two different realities:
The Sphere of Destruction

A world of molten fire, deep blue electric storms, and floating fragments of shattered terrain.
Here, the heat of battle dominates.
Everything feels dark, intense, and dangerous.
This is Briar’s territory.
A place where instinct, aggression, and raw power rule.

The Sphere of Ecstasy

An ethereal, almost divine landscape filled with floating islands, waterfalls, and golden light.
It feels like stepping into a dream – a colorful rush of energy and emotion.
This is Jinx’s playground.
A place where imagination, creativity, and chaos become one.
In this duel, the arena is not just a background. It is a living force. Sparkland reacts to the intensity of the fight itself. The more violent and unpredictable the battle becomes, the more often the environment shifts between these two extremes.
The Battle: An Analysis of the Mechanics
For those new to the concept:
In a video game, victory often depends on positioning, timing, and resource management.
In a cosplay scenario, victory is determined by dynamics, emotion, and storytelling.
Jinx stands on The Sphere of Destruction of the arena. Briar waits on the side the Sphere of Ecstasy. The air trembles. The Sparkland itself begins to react.
Jinx’s Strategy: The Symphony of Destruction
Jinx understands the instability of Sparkland and turns it into her greatest advantage. For her, the constantly changing environment is not a threat. It is a playground. As the battlefield shifts between fire, water, and unstable magical energy, she launches rockets and grenades into the sky. She does not seek a simple direct confrontation. She wants the entire Sparkland to dance.
Her advantage:
Jinx uses the energy sparks from the Central Crystal to amplify her weapons. She becomes the conductor of chaos. When the ground beneath Briar suddenly fractures, Jinx does not hesitate. She laughs. Because for Jinx, destruction is not the end. It is the beginning of something new.
Briar’s Strategy: The Charge of the Beast
Briar reacts completely differently to the magic of Sparkland. For her, the energy of this world feels like a powerful addiction. Every time the arena enters its fiery phase, her hunger and aggression grow stronger. She does not run across the battlefield. She tears through it.
She charges forward, ignoring explosions, obstacles, and everything standing between her and Jinx. Distance does not matter. Pain does not matter. Only the target matters.
Her advantage:
In an environment that constantly changes, instinct becomes a powerful weapon. While Jinx calculates where the next explosion will happen, Briar has already moved. She does not think. She reacts.
The Deep-Dive
Briar is a force of nature. In a pure hand-to-hand fight against almost any opponent in Runeterra, she would be terrifying. But Sparkland is not a normal battlefield. It is a place of pure magic. Briar fights with her body. With instinct. With raw physical power. Jinx fights with her mind. With imagination. With technological escalation.
In an arena where the laws of physics constantly shift – where solid ground can become flowing water and water can become burning lava – Briar’s straightforward approach becomes a disadvantage. She needs something stable. She needs direction. She needs something she can chase.

Jinx is the one who truly understands the nature of Sparkland. She is an artist of chaos. While Briar tries to defeat the arena, Jinx plays with it. Jinx does not win because she is physically stronger. She wins because she adapts to unpredictability. She understands that chaos itself can become a weapon. She uses the energy of the Central Crystal as her own ammunition. She lets Briar run through the flames while she manipulates the battlefield from a distance, constantly forcing her opponent into unfavorable situations. Jinx allows Sparkland itself to break apart. And within that destruction, she finds freedom.
Briar does not lose because she is weak. She loses because she is too honest. In a world filled with tricks, technology, and tactical complexity, Briar’s pure and uncontrolled wildness becomes a weapon that often misses its target against an opponent like Jinx. She is a storm crashing against a mountain. And Jinx is the mountain that learns how to let the storm dance around her.

This duel shows us the true essence of League of Legends: It is not only about who hits harder. It is about who understands the rules of chaos better. Jinx wins because she has the ability to create the spectacle itself.
This was the second and final part of this special series. We analyzed the Wild Ones, placed them against each other, and explored the dynamics of their world. Whether you prefer the colorful anarchy of Jinx or the bloody frenzy of Briar – both characters show us how alive and diverse the world of Runeterra truly is.
